The album was recorded in November of 2015, and was originally released in China only in 2016. International re-release is available now, with the promotional and marketing help by MoonJune Music. This is NOT a MoonJune Records release, but I am more than glad to help a friend.

This album came after a long career break since my last album release ”Song For A Woman” back in 2008, I can’t believe that I actually made it happen again. I was away from my usual full time musician identity for all those years due to many personal reasons. During this time,I had a blues club of my own, never thought I wanted to go back anyway. However, my life had changed dramatically after I performed one of my original blues song” The Drinking Blues” on a national TV show two years ago, I was just doing it for fun, never expected anything could happen dramatically, turned out the song was a big hit, I felt like I was pulled back into the music life right there, surrounded by music again like the old days. I had so many stories and feelings that I wanted to share, A voice told me that I should go back to music doing what I do the best. so here I am again, I started to feel good and things were seemed to be happening for a moment. Something happened at the same year unexpected, CD Blues, the blues club I owned and ran for years was closed due to bad business, it was a sad ending indeed, I felt that my faith played me for some reason. Maybe it showed me another path? maybe it was leading me to another adventure? who knows what happens, I had no choice but to follow......

A friend’s friend Leonardo Pavkovic of MoonJune Records from NYC, an independent record label of eclectic music, came to Beijing to meet me in the Summer of 2015, we talked about my recording project, he called a few people and made some inquiries of the studio there, the next thing I know this project was one step further. So the next thing was money. I started to tour around the country and using a fund raiser website to raise money, got a lot of helps from the people who love my music, they are the ones who really care and were there for me, I can’t say “Thank You” enough to them all. Anyway, these all seemed like a dream, but this one turned out to be reality, what can I say? I felt just wonderful!
